Bringing sustainability to life through the Eden Project
Four was appointed to build trust and consideration for Costa Rica as a sustainable destination in the UK. Its credentials were strong, but risked feeling abstract to high-value travellers.
Our role was to make sustainability tangible and credible. In 2022, we initiated a long-term partnership with the Eden Project to translate Costa Rica’s story into a physical UK experience, led by an independent and trusted institution.
We delivered a sustained experiential programme within the Eden Project, supported by film, storytelling and earned media. Expert-led talks, immersive content and regeneration narratives were combined with tour operator partnerships and a consumer competition to create a clear route from inspiration to intent.
The programme delivered multi-million reach and engaged thousands of high-intent visitors through immersive experiences. It drove measurable consideration outcomes, supported commercial activity and created a bank of high-quality content reused across PR, trade and stakeholder channels.
