Gwledd Feast
Four was appointed by the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society to create the name and brand identity for a new food village at the Royal Welsh Show.
The challenge was to introduce a new area on the showground while maintaining appeal for loyal showgoers. Our role was to position the space as a destination in its own right, centred on Welsh food, drink and entertainment.
We created the Gwledd name and visual identity and helped bring the new food village to life as a mini food festival within the show. The space was designed to encourage people to stop, refuel, relax and explore Welsh produce.
The first Gwledd food village was a success, receiving 98 per cent positive feedback from visitors. 95 per cent said the space helped improve access to Welsh food and drink, and the project exceeded expectations for both organisers and audiences.
