We are seeking a talented and experienced Middleweight Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create visually compelling designs across multiple platforms. You will work closely with our senior creatives to develop and execute design concepts that meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations. You will also be a motivated self-starter with ambitions to expand your skill set and continually learn and develop.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within an agency setting.
  • High level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creative solutions.
  • A good working knowledge of the print process, experience of preparing artwork for print and liaising with print suppliers to source costs

Desirable Skills:

  • Fluent in Welsh and English with a proven experience of designing bilingually
  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing.
  • Knowledge of current trends and experience of using emerging AI tools that offer benefits to the creative industries
  • Knowledge of web design and user experience (UX) principles.
  • Familiarity with project management tools 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative concepts for a variety of projects, including branding, print, digital, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure designs align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Produce high-quality design work from concept to final execution.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Ensure all work complies with accessibility standards
